Today's union insulator is skilled in the installation of mechanical insulation, fire stopping, asbestos and lead mitigation or abatement, sound attention and specialty fabrications required in custom mechanical insulation installations for commercial, industrial, medical, bio-technical, governmental and educational facilities among other customer types. This program is committed to securing opportunities for apprentices. Even when there are not many employment opportunities in the St. Louis region, if you're qualified and willing to move, the program can place you in markets throughout North America where there is a work shortage!
