CID offers a summer enrichment program for children who are deaf and hard of heairng in a general education setting with minimal supports. The enrichment program has 4 sessions. Three sessions are for students ages 6 to 12 and one session is for students ages 13 to 17. Participants enjoy reconnecting with old friends and making new ones while working together on theme-based projects. At the end of each week, campers share a culminating experience with their families, CID extended school year students and staff. Campers have said how nice it is to socialize with peers who understand what it’s like to be deaf or hard of hearing. Children and teens who are deaf or hard of hearing receive 100% scholarship support.
