Tap 1

As students progress through our tap curriculum, they start by building on basic tap vocabulary learned in Beginning Tap & Jazz. Tap 1 emphases clarity and rhythmic consistency while learning to link steps together into more complex rhythms. Tap 2 focuses on rhythm, timing, dynamics, and steady increase of tempo and introduces students to differences between Rhythm and Broadway styles of tap.
