Campers of all skill levels are welcome, even those new to chess. Learn tactics and strategies through lessons and puzzles, culminating in a chess tournament.

Are you ready to be a Marker STEMINIST? Campers will explore a variety of areas of science through hands on learning and a variety of activities at the STEM Camp. The areas of science we will explore during the week include: the five senses, force and motion, the sun and sky, and life science and chemistry. Spend time learning about how science finds you in your every day life!

Mystery Spy & Detective Camp is an immersive, hands-on adventure where campers become junior detectives and undercover agents for the week. Each day, campers will work in age-appropriate teams to crack codes, analyze evidence, and solve exciting mysteries. Activities include fingerprinting, secret messages, disguise challenges, scavenger hunts, surveillance games, and logic puzzles—all designed to build critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence while having a blast. Campers will sharpen their observation skills, learn how to think like real detectives, and complete daily “missions” that lead up to a final Case Closed! celebration at the end of the week. Younger campers are guided through playful investigations, while older campers tackle more advanced puzzles and problem-solving challenges. Perfect for curious minds, imaginative thinkers, and kids who love a good mystery, this camp combines creativity, STEM-based thinking, and high-energy fun in a safe, supportive environment.

We’ll also introduce age-appropriate e-gaming experiences that promote problem-solving, collaboration, and friendly competition. It’s the perfect mix of play, creativity, and connection, where every roll, card, click, and move brings campers together for big laughs and lasting memories.

In our hands-on, collaborative lab, campers step into the role of NASA engineers, thinking like innovators, to tackle space-themed challenges. This is operated by MadScience Camps of St. Louis on Vianney's campus.
