In this interactive German cooking class designed for kids, young chefs will embark on a culinary adventure through Germany. Students will learn traditional recipes like Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut, Spätzle, and Apfelstrudel. With hands on instruction kids will discoverer cooking techniques while developing an appreciation of German culture. The class fosters teamwork, creativity and culinary skills in a lively, supportive environment. Led by: Chef Margaret

SLU Campus Recreation & Wellness Summer Youth campers participate in recreational activities including sports, arts and crafts, games, swimming, cooking, and weekly field trips.

Saint Louis University’s Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp is a week-long program engaging campers in gardening, cooking and nutrition activities.

In the sweet Europe baking class, young bakers explore traditional European classic recipes from Spain, France `Italy and other European countries. Treats such as macarons, tiramisu, churros and polvorones will be introduced. With hands-on instruction students master decorating techniques, and learn about cultural traditions behind each dessert. Rising 1st-6th Graders. Each day of this weeklong camp, we will visit a "foodie" destination around St. Louis. We'll also swim at the Kirkwood Aquatic Center twice throughout the week. Plus, we will have food-themed activities and games all week.

Don't forget your apron, it's time to bake! Campers will learn how to read a recipe, mix ingredients, and make delicious baked goods.

Camp Mihaska summer activities at camp are endless. When you’re not hiking in the woods along endless miles of trails, exploring the caves or fishing and paddle boating in the magnificent lakes, you can soak up the sun at our state-of-the-art pool with water sprays, a lap pool, vortex, and an in-pool bubble tub. Basketball, volleyball, tennis and miniature golf are available day or night, as well as outdoor paintball games and miniature golf.

This 5 day camp will take students through the fundamentals of baking.

Explorer Camp is our traditional program for returning campers or new campers who are comfortable leaving home. This program incorporates our old fashioned outdoor camp activities plus canoe, backpack & bike camping trips. Each trip is geared toward a camper's skill and ability.
