Camp Manitowa offers a private, traditional sleep-away summer camp program along with year round retreat opportunities and group rentals.

Camp Manitowa offers a private, traditional sleep-away summer camp program along with year round retreat opportunities and group rentals.

We’ll cover the basics of stop motion animation techniques and then dive deeper into directing, storytelling, building, editing, and designing! There will be daily challenges to learn different techniques to incorporate into one final film complete with a full story, dialogue, and main characters. The grand finale will be a mini film festival to premiere everyone’s creations. If you were in the younger class last summer, come back and build on your skills, learn more advanced techniques, and create more complex movies! And if you weren’t, we’ll quickly get you caught up and making movies.

Learn rhythm, musicality, spacing, and basic musical theatre dance steps in this dance camp for children who love Disney musicals. We dance to favorites from musicals, such as Mary Poppins and Moana, and explore a whole new world of dance. We share our dances with family and friends on the final day of camp. Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo concludes with an in-person performance with family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. No previous experience or dancewear required.

Run away and join the circus! This camp explores songs from musicals with circus themes like The Greatest Showman and Pippin. Campers sing, dance, and act as they tell these carnival themed stories. Choreography also features circus skills that we explore in our camp day, such as juggling, plate spinning, rolling globes, tumbling, and more! Broadway Big Top concludes with an in-person performance for family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Campers should wear shorts or shorts under skirts or dresses. Features multiple professional teaching artists to present a variety of arts disciplines.

Each day at camp is an opportunity to explore new activities and develop new skills. From music to sports to cooking, to STEM, there's something for everyone! Summer Camp at Five Oaks is about making lasting friendships, discovering new hobbies and hidden talents, staying active, creative, and engaged, and exploring the world around you! We can't wait for you to join us and be part of a summer full of fun and memories! Campers should wear closed toe-shoes, comfortable clothing, and bring a hat, water bottle, and lunch each day. 5-12 years old.

Pop Star Boot Camp concludes with an in-person performance for family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Features multiple professional teaching artists to present a variety of arts disciplines.

This fun and lively introduction to dance is perfect for those interested in sampling moves and choreography. Inspired by current and classic pop music stars and their styles, we learn a different style of choreography and dance step each day and create props and accessories to augment our performance. PopNation concludes with an in-person performance during the final 20 minutes of camp.

Find yourself in a different country each day, and uncover the cultural clues to determine where in the world you are! Dance, draw, sculpt, sing, and learn some basic language skills as you travel around our mysterious globe and explore the arts from different cultures. Where will you be? Japan? Iceland? Peru? Just wait and see! Where in the World concludes with campers bringing home the work they created. Features multiple professional teaching artists to present a variety of arts disciplines.
