In this lesson, students learn the basics of composting through hands-on exploration of an active vermicomposting (worm compost) bin. Participants will consider how humans can mirror natural processes to reduce waste and live more sustainably. Class presented by staff of EarthWays Center, the sustainability division of Missouri Botanical Garden.
