JA Finance Park Homeschool Visit Day

Following a 12-lesson (Middle School) or 7-lesson (High School) curriculum, homeschool students attend JA Finance Park® to experience their personal financial futures first-hand. JA Finance Park® is designed as a collaborative marketplace including financial services, education, insurance, entertainment, communications, utilities, and more. Upon entering the center, students receive a "life situation' with job, income, education, and family scenarios. In this tablet-based program, students explore and learn about different budget categories, create a household budget, make purchasing decisions, and pay for their expenses. JA Finance Park is Junior Achievement’s capstone program for personal financial planning and career exploration. At the culmination of this teacher-led program, students visit JA Finance Park, a realistic on-site or virtual community, to put into practice what they've learned by developing and committing to a personal budget.
