Art Adventurers: Countdown to Launch

Calling all astronauts: Be prepared to trek into the vast unknowns of the universe this week! We’ll use art to investigate galaxies, planets, moons, and more, along with the amazing science and technology that makes space exploration possible. Don’t be surprised if an alien or UFO makes an appearance – space is a mystery! Experience art and nature through exploration of Laumeier's green space, woodland trails, outdoor sculptures, and creek. This full-day art camp is designed for ages 5-10, with an emphasis on play, exploration, and friendship. Young artists learn about contemporary and historical artists, interact with special guests, immerse themselves in the woodland creek and trails, and experiment with a variety of materials and processes to create amazing works of art! Each session is inspired by a unique theme and young artists are divided into four different teams by age.
