Introduction to Flatwater Kayaking

Join us for an afternoon on the water for a basic kayaking program at Towell Lake located within Little Prairie Conservation Area northeast of Rolla. Participants will learn information and safety about kayaking during the ground school portion of the class, then take to the water for paddling instruction and practice. Ages 13-18. Kayaks, paddles, and life-jackets will be provided. Closed-toe shoes are required (NOT flip flops or crocs). * Classes will be CANCELLED if we encounter inclement weather — rain or extreme heat
