Our Great Outdoors Camp offers school-age students with IDD a week of fresh air, hands-on exploration, and confidence-building fun in a safe and supportive environment. Campers will enjoy water play and sensory-friendly activities, exciting scavenger hunts that promote teamwork and problem-solving, and creative nature crafts using leaves, rocks, and recycled materials to encourage self-expression and fine motor development. Trips to local parks provide opportunities to practice social skills, explore playgrounds and trails, and participate in structured group games that foster cooperation and inclusion. Throughout the week, highly trained staff provide individualized support to ensure personal needs are met while encouraging independence, friendship-building, and meaningful participation—creating a summer experience that is active, engaging, and empowering. Scholarships available upon request. Find camp registration at: https://www.lifebridgestl.org/
