Chess instruction is provided to all students, as well as opportunities for chess tournament play. Higher level strategies and tactics are taught to experienced players. No prior experience is required to participate in this chess class.

Each Lutheran High School camp will meet the following objectives: The Gospel of Jesus Christ will be shared with each participant. Positive sportsmanship/citizenship and healthy attitudes will be taught to each participant. Individual and/or group (team) skills will be demonstrated to and practiced by each participant. Drills and exercises to promote future skill development and proper conditioning will be shared with each participant.

Welcome to our Aviation Adventure Camp! Embark on a thrilling journey into the world of aviation, where young enthusiasts in grades 6-8 explore the skies. From learning about aircraft mechanics, aerodynamics, and navigation, campers will experience the excitement of aviation firsthand. Our expert instructors will guide participants through interactive workshops and inspiring guest lectures. Whether your child dreams of becoming a pilot or engineer or simply have a passion for flight, our camp fosters curiosity, skill development, and lifelong memories in the dynamic realm of aviation.

For those entering 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade in the fall of 2025. Join us for one of five fun sessions of Advanced LEGOs Engineering Camp! Camp projects will include a street cleaner, disk car, hand-held crane, mechanical hammer, disk speedster, balance, balance with the dial, windmill, sail car, motorized go-cart, motorized rail, motorized walking stick, motorized dog, motorized crane, weighted crane, motorized dragster, mobile crane, tow truck, helicopter, and an airplane. There will also be a take-home project, as well as challenging creative time. New projects will explore renewable energy sources; investigate energy supply, transfer, accumulation, conversion, and consumption; and use measurements and data analysis to describe and explain outcomes through hands-on activities.

For those entering 3rd, 4th or 5th grade in the fall of 2025. Join us for one of three sessions of WeDo Robotics LEGO Camp! Campers will be involved in creating engaging learning experiences in science, literacy, math, and social studies. Using the LEGO Education WeDo hardware and software, in combination with these activities, students will be inspired to think critically, problem-solve, and be creative. Activities cover the Wild Animals theme models: Hungry Alligator, Flying Bir,d, and Roaring Lion. Mathematics, literacy, science, and social studies activities will be incorporated for each model as well as standards covering visual arts, dramatic arts, music, physical education, and technology. There will also be a take-home project, as well as challenging creative time.

The CSA Robotics Camp is designed for students entering grades 4-9 who have an interest in robotics and drones. During this fun-filled week, campers will be introduced to the world of robotics. Using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits, campers will design, keep notes, build, program, and test their robots. Campers will also be introduced to programming and using drones during this week of exploration and fun.

Attend one or more sessions in the Esports Center and dive into the world of gaming. Campers will learn and strategize alongside Vianney's Esports Team in a fun, supportive environment. All equipment supplied.

In this hands-on course, students will learn the basics of flying drones. In addition to the many maneuvering skills, students will master drone safety, maintenance, and regulations will be introduced. Careers involving drones will also be explored.

Miss Manners might not approve, but your child definitely will! Super Gross Science is a week of learning about our gross bodily functions. Burping, boogers, excrement, gas, saliva, germs and how our brain, cells, heart, organs and blood contribute.

The AIMS Middle School Anatomy 101 is a three day workshop that provides introductory anatomical learning through high-definition auditorium presentations, comparative dissections and other "hands-on" programs. Students will have the opportunity to interact with anatomists, medical school students and other healthcare professionals. If you are interested in science or medicine this workshop is a great way to sharpen your skills!

Creative Contraption Warning! This is a camp designed by you--the Inventor! Each day you'll be given a series of challenges which must be overcome using basic materials, simple machines, tips from the world of famous inventors, and the most important thing of all--your mind. With a little bit of ingenuity, you'll construct catapults and forts and then lay siege, construct a mini boat, and assemble a working light saber to take home.
