In this camp students will learn about AI (generative and traditional), and tightly related topics in Machine Learning (ML) on multiple levels; conceptual, ethical and logical (actually coding algorithms to demonstrate how Machine Learning analyzes data to produce results). This camp introduces students to one of the most exciting new technology frontiers in the past twenty years.

Join other brickheads in building and designing Lego creations that revolve around themes and teach strategy, flexibility, and creative thinking-skills that parents and children never knew plastic pieces could provide. TONS of bricks will be provided, as well as instruction booklets (sometimes) as students build their own fun. Daily books, projects, and building will lead to a remarkable week.

The Aviation Flight program at SIU Carbondale offers this week-long aviation camp designed to give interested high school students an opportunity to experience first-hand the thrill of flight. Summer Wings offers those attending the chance to explore a career as a pilot by providing ground and flight training similar to the training that SIU flight students undergo.

Minecraft has taken the world by surprise since it debuted in 2009! This camp combines the fun of Minecraft with teaching kids to code at the same time. Playing Minecraft is fun, but building, creating, and modifying your Minecraft agents and worlds through coding is a skill that can help our younger generation in any field they choose to pursue. Through fun, hands-on challenges, participants will learn key STEM concepts, problem-solving techniques, and teamwork n an engaging and supportive environment. Whether you're a budding engineer or a curious beginner, this camp promises a week full of innovation, exploration, and fun! No prior experience required-just bring your imagination!

Each Lutheran High School camp will meet the following objectives: The Gospel of Jesus Christ will be shared with each participant. Positive sportsmanship/citizenship and healthy attitudes will be taught to each participant. Individual and/or group (team) skills will be demonstrated to and practiced by each participant. Drills and exercises to promote future skill development and proper conditioning will be shared with each participant.

This week-long program is designed to begin with basic concepts and conclude with several architectural design projects. These projects allow the students to display the information they have learned throughout the week. While working each day in the Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture building, students engage and learn from the university’s highly qualified professors with the opportunity for individual guidance as well.

It’s almost back to school time! Help your child get ready for their advanced classwork with this camp. Excel is the most popular, broadly implemented software in industry as well as in education. Agile skills with Excel provide any student (any person, really) with a quick-start competitive advantage in necessary data organization and analysis skills. This camp is conducted consistent with the Microsoft Office Specialist 200 certification. Upon completion, students will have been exposed to and have practiced all five domain areas covered by the certification: • Manage Worksheets and Workbooks • Manage Data Cells and Ranges • Manage Tables and Table Data • Perform Operations By Using Functions • Manage Charts The MOS 200 certificate is required at many business schools (including SLU Chaifetz School of Business). This camp prepares the student for the exam and students will be shown how / where to register for and take the exam, should they choose. The exam itself is not part of the camp. No prior experience with Excel is required – basic QWERTY keyboarding ability, and nothing more. Camp attendees must bring their own computer; Windows or Apple / Mac work equally well. IPads / tablets will not work.

This class will begin with the discussion and establishment of student personal goals, with regards to family history and how it plays a part in the past. Students will create a flow path to get started from information they currently know about their family. They will be able to explore and learn to use popular genealogy websites and books. (Ages 14-18)

Long after the nuclear apocalypse, your group of wasteland wanderers is searching for a way to purify the radioactive water you depend on. Some clues in an old computer have led you to this ancient, crumbling bomb shelter. Can you solve a scientific mystery and find the water purifier without triggering a meltdown or getting sealed in the vault… forever? Gather a team of 4-6 players and sign up together! (Ages 13 – 18)

We will cover topics such as qualities of technologists, required skills, surgery and mobile radiography, trauma imaging, modality advancement, and much more. There will also be time to look at unique radiographic images! Learn these skills from registered Radiologic Technologists with many years of experience in the field. (Ages 12-15)
