In this camp students will learn about AI (generative and traditional), and tightly related topics in Machine Learning (ML) on multiple levels; conceptual, ethical and logical (actually coding algorithms to demonstrate how Machine Learning analyzes data to produce results). While working each day in the Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture building, students engage and learn from the university’s highly qualified professors with the opportunity for individual guidance as well.

It’s almost back to school time! Help your child get ready for their advanced classwork with this camp. Excel is the most popular, broadly implemented software in industry as well as in education. Agile skills with Excel provide any student (any person, really) with a quick-start competitive advantage in necessary data organization and analysis skills. This camp is conducted consistent with the Microsoft Office Specialist 200 certification. Upon completion, students will have been exposed to and have practiced all five domain areas covered by the certification: • Manage Worksheets and Workbooks • Manage Data Cells and Ranges • Manage Tables and Table Data • Perform Operations By Using Functions • Manage Charts The MOS 200 certificate is required at many business schools (including SLU Chaifetz School of Business). This camp prepares the student for the exam and students will be shown how / where to register for and take the exam, should they choose. The exam itself is not part of the camp. No prior experience with Excel is required – basic QWERTY keyboarding ability, and nothing more. Camp attendees must bring their own computer; Windows or Apple / Mac work equally well. IPads / tablets will not work.
