Xploration Healthcare

College for Kids presents Xploration Healthcare, a unique opportunity for youth, ages 12-16, to explore medical careers in a college classroom training environment. Taught by medical professionals, students will experience class curriculum/key job components in hands-on, small group cohorts and rotate each day through modules including: EMT/paramedics, nursing, dental hygiene, clinical laboratory technician, sonography, occupational therapy assistant and surgical technician.  Participants will go inside an ambulance simulator, learn first aid, look at laboratory cell slides, determine organs from ultrasounds, visit the dental clinic and more!
